Your arrival in Davos: The mountainous landscape awaits you

You may well be overwhelmed by the tranquillity of the mountains. The Sheraton Davos Hotel Waldhuus is in an absolutely idyllic location on the edge of the forest, surrounded by the picturesque mountains. Travelling to Davos is simple. It is easy to reach our hotel from the train station. The motorway and Zurich Airport are also nearby. As you can see, the hotel's great location makes the journey here a relaxing experience in itself. The golf course and the Congress Centre are only a few minutes' walk from the Hotel. In winter athletes can enjoy the well-kept cross-country ski tracks situated right next to the Hotel, as well as free transfers (according to the fixed schedule) to Jakobshorn and the Parsenn cable car (at winter). We wish you a pleasant journey to Davos!


Arriving by car

From Landeck (Austria)

• Drive through the Lower Engadin Valley via the customs office at Martina zum Fluela Pass or the Vereina tunnel
• When you have arrived in Davos, follow the one-way "Promenade" road until you reach the Kongress Hotel
• Turn left onto Hertistrasse
• Drive straight ahead along Talstrasse and continue over the railway crossing

From Zurich

• Take the A3 in the direction of Chur and drive to Landquart  
• Follow the road to Davos for approx. 40 km
• Upon arrival in Davos, follow the one-way "Promenade" road until you reach the Kongress Hotel
• Turn left onto Hertistraße
• Drive straight ahead along Talstrasse and continue over the railway crossing

You can take the local bus directly from the bus stop at the side of the train station, alighting at the Hertistrasse stop.  From there it is approx. 5 minutes' walk along Hertistrasse to the hotel.

Please contact us - we will be happy organise a transfer with our hotel bus for arrivals between 8 am and 9 pm. Taxis will also be available.

Arriving by plain

The closest airport is Zürich-Kloten. You will reach Davos in approx. 2 hours by car; trains depart hourly from Zurich Airport via Zurich Central Station and Landquart for Davos; the journey takes approx. 2 hours and 40 minutes.
